The Trust provides grants to non-profits and schools in Nevada County, CA for activities that involve youth in theatre.
Successful applications are for projects that either:
Offer opportunities for education or direct participation in the theatre arts; or
Foster an appreciation of the theatre arts that is expected to lead to
direct participation in the future.
Grants typically range from $500 to $3,000 per project
Guidelines
Applicants must be a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
There is no formal application paperwork to complete.
Submit a narrative, project budget and requested grant amount to info@cptnevco.org
Include details of other project funding or matching sources, your mailing address & email.
Projects should primarily benefit Nevada County groups and/or artists, explaining any out of county benefits created.
Proposals are accepted between October 15 and January 15 each year.
Funding decisions are made in late January, with notification soon afterward.
Funded projects submit a report with P&L by 12/31 each year during project
and acknowledge the Trust in printed programs
(non-reporting will jeopardize possible future funding).
